The fantastic natural backdrop of Lake Neusiedl has been the impressive backdrop to one of Europe's largest open-air stages since 1957. Visitors are whisked away to a world far removed from everyday life. And they are transported into the world of musical theater at the highest artistic level.

Spectacular productions with renowned performers and gigantic stage sets ensure a loyal following and full seats year after year. Alfons Haider has been General Director of the Seefestspiele Mörbisch since January 2021. The well-known actor and presenter started his career at this very venue. Over the years, he has appeared in well-known TV and theater productions. His appearances have taken him all over Europe. He has also won numerous awards and has become an integral part of the Austrian cultural scene. In Mörbisch he is celebrating a home game, so to speak, and is responsible for the artistic direction of the Lake Festival.

The sun over Burgenland has already been given the task of chasing away any rain clouds that might want to appear. You must not miss this!
